Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does Scoop work?
A: It's simple! Just download the Scoop App on your smartphone or tablet, input your pickup location and destination, and explore a wide range of vehicle options, along with ride fares and wait times of each. Once you've made your selection, you will be notified of the approximate time to meet your drive. After confirming your name, one of our drivers will safely and effectively get you to your destination!
Q: How can I trust that I will make it to my destination safely?
A: At Scoop, we recruit and onboard qualified drivers,

providing training on navigation, app usage, road safety, first aid, emergency protocols, and customer service. Additionally, we monitor driver performance and, with immediate GPS metrics, can promptly locate vehicles through our admin dashboard and address any issues. We require all new drivers to have a minimum of three years experience.
Q: Can I leave a review for my driver?
A: Absolutely! You can leave a review for your driver by either scanning the QR code inside the vehicle or by going on our app and using your driver's name.
Q: Are Scoop drivers covered by insurance?
A: Yes! All Scoop drivers are covered under full protection policies.
Q: What technology is leveraged to increase safety measures?
A: Each vehicle is equipped with GPS tracking, allowing our administration to receive immediate alerts in the event of sudden stops (indicative of a potential crash), instances of excessive acceleration, speeding, or out-of-boundary travel. In the event of a detected or suspected crash, our administration promptly notifies local emergency services, ensuring quick and appropriate response to any potential emergencies.
Additional Notes:
Both drivers and riders can create emergency contacts within the Scoop-Ride app. This allows the Scoop team to quickly notify family & friends in case of any emergency situation.
